At the age of 7, dying to sing This Is Me from the movie Camp Rock and Poker Face by Lady Gaga, Luana knew it was time to add another language to her vocabulary – which at that time, already included Portuguese, Italian, and Spanish. From that moment on, all Luana would do was sing in English.
She began expanding her knowledge of music at a local music school in São Paulo that ultimately gave her the opportunity to perform at renowned venues.
Luana’s influences include Ally Nicholas, girl in red, Paramore, Three Days Grace, The Pretty Reckless, Phantogram, and Jack Kays.
Luana tells stories. She aims to be herself and sing her truth because, by sharing her experiences with others, she hopes people can connect on a deeper level. Her soft voice, accompanied by her unforgettable guitar work, deliver skillfully crafted lyrics that often revolve around the bittersweet side of relationships.
At age 17, Luana moved to Los Angeles to continue pursuing her music career. She is a Summa Cum Laude graduate from Los Angeles College of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Music Composition, Songwriting.
